Environmental depots
At the environmental depots, as a resident of Ouder-Amstel, you can dispose of bulky household waste (including household appliances and furniture), bulky garden waste (no earth and sand), stones, hazardous waste, rubble and construction waste, as well as clothing. Business waste cannot be accepted here.
Please bring your identification document to the environmental depot, as we may ask for it.
Below you will find the regular opening hours of the environmental depots.
Duivendrecht
Address: Meidoornstraat 28. Opening hours:
- Monday: 9 a.m. to noon.
- Wednesday: 14 to 18 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 13 to 16 p.m.
Ouderkerk aan de Amstel
Address: Ambachtenstraat 84. Opening hours:
- Monday: 13 to 16 p.m.
- Wednesday: 14 to 18 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 13 to 16 p.m.
At the two environmental depots, the waste materials must be separated.
Appliances, asbestos (double wrapped in plastic and a maximum of 35m2; only accepted at the Ouderkerk aan de Amstel depot), tires, batteries, construction and demolition waste, hazardous waste, roofing material, used cooking oil and fat, plaster, bulky household waste, wood, metals, rubble, textiles, garden waste (no earth and sand), stones.
At the environmental depot, it is also possible to donate reusable textiles, household items, etcetera., to the De Lokatie thrift store (in Dutch onlly).
