Using municipal land
If you wish to organize an event on municipal land or place an object in a public space, such as a debris container, (construction waste) bin, construction trailer, portable toilet, or other construction equipment, you need to apply for a permit from the municipality.

Additional information is required for the placement of a crane, such as:
- A site plan showing the crane's setup, the location of the truck from which it lifts materials, the storage area for the objects to be lifted, etcetera.
- A drawing indicating the crane's turning radius and everything within its range of rotation, including the weight and dimensions of the lifted objects and the height to which they will be lifted.
- The weight and axle load of the crane (the weight of a vehicle transmitted to the ground through the wheels of a single axle), as well as the precautions taken to prevent damage to pavement caused by the crane:
- The dimensions (length x width x height) of the crane.
- An overview of the (temporary) traffic measures to be taken, which must comply with CROW publication 96-b.
To apply for a permit to use municipal land, you will need:
- A site plan of the location where the objects will be placed.
The permit may be refused if:
- The intended use causes damage to the road.
- The intended use poses a danger to the usability or hinders the efficient management and maintenance of the road.
- The intended use causes danger, nuisance, or disturbance.
- The intended use contaminates the public space.
- The intended use detracts from the appearance of the public space.

The municipality will make a decision on your application within 8 weeks. The municipality may decide to extend the deadline by 6 weeks once.
